Reid W Marker Obituary, Death; – A fatal accident occurred in Jefferson County on October 26, as reported by the New York State Police.
The State Police have identified the victim as Reid W. Marker, a 20-year-old from Virginia. Troopers arrived at the scene of the accident on Middle Road in the Town of Orleans at approximately 12:54 p.m.
Initial investigations revealed that a 2005 Honda Accord, operated by an 18-year-old female, veered off the road and collided with a tree.
Marker, who was a passenger in the car, was declared dead at the scene. Fortunately, the driver sustained no injuries in the incident.
The State Police indicated that a drug recognition expert assessed the driver and found no indications of impairment.
The inquiry into the accident remains active, and law enforcement has not disclosed any charges related to the incident.
