John Pallazo Obituary, Death; – A 90-year-old man lost his life in a collision on Tuesday evening, as reported by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
The deceased has been named John Pallazo, a resident of Aiken, according to officials.
The incident occurred at 4:58 p.m. on University Parkway close to Arbor Court. The coroner’s office indicates that Pallazo was heading east on University Parkway while riding an electric three-wheeled bicycle when he was hit by a 2022 Toyota Tundra, which was also traveling east on University Parkway.
Pallazo was taken to the hospital by Aiken County Emergency Medical Services, where he succumbed to his injuries. The coroner’s office reports that he was declared dead at 5:34 p.m. A toxicology report is currently pending.
The coroner’s office, along with the Aiken Department of Public Safety, is conducting an investigation into the crash.
