Karissa Ramsey Obituary, Death; – Officials from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a deceased woman in a hotel room located on the east side of Indianapolis.
At approximately 10:23 a.m. on Saturday, officers were sent to a hotel situated in the 2300 block of N. Post Road to investigate a death. Upon their arrival, they encountered an unresponsive woman within a hotel room. The woman, who has been identified as 36-year-old Karissa Ramsey, was declared dead at the scene.
Following an examination by the Marion County Coroner’s Office on Monday, the manner of Ramsey’s death was determined to be a homicide.
