India Kinamore Obituary, Death; – We are uncovering new information regarding the murder of a pregnant woman on her due date within a residence in Colerain Township.
India Kinamore, aged 26, was asleep when she was shot inside the Colerain Township home she shared with the father of her unborn child, Kayvon Warren, aged 30, as per recently submitted court documents.
Warren did not wish to have the baby, prompting him to enlist his cousin, Robert Ervin, aged 20, and Ervin’s half-brother, Lamar Morris Suggs, aged 22, to enter their home and fatally shoot her at approximately 4:30 a.m. on March 4, 2023, according to allegations made by prosecutors in new court filings.
This date was her due date, as stated by Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich.
The crime was made to appear as though it were a burglary and robbery; however, investigators concluded that this was a deception.
“India Kinamore was pregnant with … Warren’s child, a child he did not desire, and was asleep when associates of co-defendant Warren drove to their residence and entered to shoot and kill Ms. Kinamore and their unborn child,” prosecutors noted in a court document referred to as the “Bill of Particulars.”
In August, a Hamilton County grand jury indicted all three men on four counts each of aggravated murder, murder, and felonious assault.
Suggs and Warren are facing additional weapons charges. Prosecutors assert in court documents that they have prior convictions and should not have possessed a firearm.
If convicted, all three men could face life imprisonment.
They are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for another hearing. Should they maintain their not guilty pleas, a trial date will be established.
“This should have been one of the most joyous days of India’s life,” Pillich remarked when announcing their indictments.
“Instead, the child’s father conspired with two others to take her life. It is truly heartbreaking. My office will ensure that justice is served for both India and her baby.”
Erwin and Warren are currently detained at the Hamilton County Justice Center with bonds set at $600,000.
Suggs is presently serving a three-year prison sentence at the Lebanon Correctional Institution in Warren County for a 2024 conviction.
