Amarius Berry Obituary, Death; – Authorities report that a 21-year-old motorist lost his life in a single-vehicle accident over the weekend on Interstate 40 in Midwest City.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday on the westbound I-40 ramp from Douglas Boulevard.
According to a collision report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a vehicle was heading west on the on-ramp when it veered off the road, struck a bump, became airborne, and collided with the underside of an overpass at Industrial Boulevard.
The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries, as stated in the report.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the driver as Amarius Berry from Oklahoma City.
There were no other individuals involved in the accident.
