Angel Josiah Rodriguez Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of a 7-month-old infant who tragically passed away after being left unattended in a bathtub in East Haven over the weekend. Emergency responders arrived at a residence on Redfield Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the child unresponsive after being left alone in the bathtub, according to police reports. Medical personnel attempted to administer life-saving measures at the location before transporting the infant to the hospital. Despite their best efforts, the 7-month-old succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. He has been named Angel Josiah Rodriguez.

At the time of the incident, Rodriguez was reportedly under the care of family members in East Haven. Investigators noted that his primary residence was in Ansonia with his mother, who was not present and had no involvement in the situation.

Police indicated that all individuals present at the scene have been identified, and there is no suspicion of foul play. The East Haven Police Investigative Services Division is conducting an inquiry into the matter. Additionally, the state Department of Children and Families has announced that it is collaborating with law enforcement in the investigation.
