Johnnie Lesley Obituary, Death; – Authorities have disclosed the identity of an individual who lost his life in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred last week in Midwest City.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on October 3, police and firefighters from Midwest City responded to reports of a collision with injuries on Northeast 23rd Street, close to Air Depot Boulevard. Upon their arrival, they discovered a Dodge pickup truck overturned in a ditch and a Land Rover situated in the median.
As per a news release, it was determined that the Dodge was traveling east on Northeast 23rd Street when it crossed the center line and collided with the Land Rover, which was stationary on the shoulder. The driver of the Dodge was ejected from the vehicle and subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Midwest City Police Department has identified him as 68-year-old Johnnie Lesley. Two occupants of the Land Rover, aged 22 and 2, were also taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and have since been released. The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
