Bianca Ruiz Obituary, Death; – A homicide investigation is currently in progress following the discovery of a deceased woman in far west Albuquerque late on Monday, August 11. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Thursday, August 14, that her death is being treated as a homicide.
Deputies were dispatched to the vicinity of 12232 High Mesa Drive Northwest, near the Water Authority Tower, at 11:51 p.m. that Monday. Upon their arrival, deputies engaged with the reporting party. They located an unresponsive woman alongside a dirt arroyo. She was pronounced dead at the scene and was subsequently identified by the Office of the Medical Investigator as Bianca Ruiz, aged 36.
Detectives are treating the case as a homicide due to the injuries sustained and the evidence collected at the scene.
