Michael Tillotson Obituary, Death; – A man from the St. Johns area, identified as Michael Tillotson, aged 80, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident that occurred southeast of St. Johns on August 1. The incident took place at approximately 8:37 a.m. on Chandler Road, in proximity to Taft Road.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, the driver, later confirmed to be Tillotson, was traveling northbound when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with an embankment. He was subsequently transported to the University of Michigan Health−Sparrow Lansing hospital, where he was pronounced dead, as reported by officials.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
Emergency personnel from the Ovid, St. Johns, and DeWitt Area fire departments responded to the scene, along with the Clinton Area Ambulance, as stated by sheriff’s officials.
