Jeffrey Lynn Nevarez Jr Obituary, Death; – A man killed in last Thursday night’s head on collision east of Gatesville has been identified as 21 year-old Jeffrey Lynn Nevarez, Jr of Waco.
Department of Public Safety Sgt Bryan Washko said the crash occurred about 9:39 pm on US Highway 84 about five miles east of Gatesville.
A 2021 Kia Stinger passenger car driven by Nevarez was going east on Highway 84 and a 2024 Dodge Ram truck towing a livestock trailer was going west. According to the investigating trooper, for unknown reasons the Kia crossed into the west bound lane colliding head on wih the Dodge.
Nevarez was pronounced dead at the scene,
