Mandy Coxwell,Cameron Marsh Obituary, Death; – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the two individuals discovered deceased early Tuesday morning behind a store were victims of a murder-suicide.
The bodies were located just prior to 6:30 a.m. beneath a semi-truck trailer in the loading area of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet on Cattleman Road. Deputies indicated that they recovered three bullet casings and a handgun in close proximity.
The sheriff’s office has confirmed their identities as 34-year-old Mandy Coxwell and 33-year-old Cameron Marsh. According to detectives, an autopsy determined that Coxwell succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head, whereas Marsh inflicted a fatal injury to himself under the chin and in the neck.
Local business proprietors recognized Coxwell and Marsh as familiar figures in the vicinity, often observed panhandling and seeking refuge under trailers and in the loading bay during the night.
The investigation remains active.
