Charles Espinoza Obituary, Death; – An 18-year-old male was tragically shot and killed early Wednesday in Greeley following a confrontation with another individual who was inside an SUV, as reported by the Greeley Police Department.
The incident was reported shortly after midnight on Wednesday in the 700 block of 15th Street. Upon the arrival of officers, they discovered the victim unresponsive.
Investigations revealed that the victim had engaged in a dispute with the suspect, who was located in an SUV. During this confrontation, the individual in the SUV discharged multiple rounds, hitting the victim.
Witnesses attempted to administer CPR to the victim until law enforcement personnel arrived. Subsequently, the victim was transported to Northern Colorado Medical Center, where he was declared deceased, according to the Greeley Police.
Authorities later identified the suspect as 42-year-old Charles Espinoza. He was apprehended without any incidents and is set to be booked into the Weld County jail on charges of first-degree murder.
