Adrian Rogel-Villanueva Obituary, Death; – The Lake County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the 19-year-old motorcyclist who lost his life in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday morning as Adrian Rogel-Villanueva, a resident of Waukegan.

Preliminary autopsy findings indicate that Rogel-Villanueva succumbed to blunt force injuries resulting from the crash, as stated in a news release from the coroner’s office. The incident occurred at approximately 5:50 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Sallmon Avenue in Beach Park.

Authorities discovered a damaged Kawasaki sports bike, which showed signs of having been hit by another vehicle. According to officials, that vehicle left the scene after the collision.

Rogel-Villanueva was declared dead at the scene.

The Technical Crash Investigations Team is currently carrying out a criminal investigation into the hit-and-run incident. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at 847-377-4000 or to submit a tip online via the sheriff’s office’s website.
