Mitchell Lee Farley Obituary, Death; – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who was found dead on Beardsley Avenue as 38-year-old Mitchell Lee Farley of Bakersfield.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on July 12, 2025, at around 8 p.m., deputies were called to the 800 block of Beardsley Avenue for a victim with trauma. The coroner’s report said on July 12, at around 8:28 p.m., Farley was found shot.
He died at the scene.
KCSO Homicide Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. KCSO said 46-year-old Darin Lee Williford was arrested for the homicide.
