Kendale Williams Obituary, Death; – The victim of a deadly shooting at a motel near Carowinds over the weekend was identified on Monday. Kendale Williams, 23, of North Carolina, was identified by the coroner on Monday, July 28, as the person killed.
The shooting reportedly happened around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, at the Motel 6 along Foothills Way in Fort Mill. Deputies said Williams was found shot to death in the parking lot of the motel.
A person of interest was reportedly being questioned after the shooting; however, as of this writing, no arrests have been announced. No other injuries were reported.
