Zachary Brooks Obituary, Death; Police: Robesonia motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV in Millcreek Twp.

Zachary Brooks Obituary, Death; – A 40-year-old man from Robesonia lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Friday, as reported by the Millcreek Township Police Department.

At 3:59 p.m. on July 18, officers were dispatched to a vehicular collision involving two vehicles, which resulted in injuries, at the intersection of Stricklerstown and Rod and Gun Roads in Millcreek Township. Upon arrival, officers found that the incident involved a motorcycle and an SUV.

According to police, EMS provided treatment to the motorcycle rider and subsequently transported him to Tower Health Reading Hospital. The rider was identified as Zachary Brooks, 40, from Robesonia, Pennsylvania.

“The Berks County Coroner’s Office informed our department that the male had unfortunately succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash,” police stated in a press release.

At the time of the incident, the SUV was heading east on Stricklerstown Road and was attempting to make a left turn onto Rod and Gun Road. Police reported that the motorcycle was traveling west on Stricklerstown Road when the rider collided with the passenger side of the SUV.

The driver of the SUV, a 52-year-old individual from King of Prussia, did not sustain any injuries in the accident. Authorities indicated that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The Millcreek Township Police Department received assistance on the scene from the Newmanstown Ambulance Association, Myerstown Ambulance, First Aid and Safety of Lebanon, Newmanstown Fire Department, Richland Neptune Fire Department, Womelsdorf Fire Department, Schoeneck Fire Department, Fire Police from Newmanstown, Richland, and Womelsdorf, as well as the Pennsylvania State Police Reconstruction Team.
