Allen Sharpshire Obituary, Death; – A man was shot and killed in D.C. following a disturbance involving his roommates.
The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 100 block of Fort Drive, Northeast on Friday, July 18, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., after receiving reports of a disturbance among roommates.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male inside an apartment with an unspecified injury. DC Fire and EMS were called to the scene, and despite all attempts to save him, the man was declared dead.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner established that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, and classified the manner of death as homicide.
The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Allen Sharpshire from Northeast, DC.
This case is still under investigation.
