Charles S Lawton Obituary, Death; – Investigators are actively pursuing an inquiry into a shooting incident that resulted in the death of one individual and left another person injured.

On June 27th, at approximately 11:10 p.m., law enforcement officers responded to the location of 8475 Chesapeake Boulevard following reports of a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound that posed a significant threat to his life.

The injured man was subsequently transported to a medical facility for urgent care. Shortly thereafter, officers received information regarding a second individual who had presented himself at Sentara Leigh Hospital with a gunshot wound that was also life-threatening.

This individual, identified as Charles S. Lawton, aged 24, from Norfolk, was declared dead due to his injuries shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

Investigators have established a connection between the two incidents.
