Brent Peters,Matthew Peters Obituary, Death; – The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has confirmed the identities of the three men who lost their lives in what authorities have described as a “targeted attack” near the Alberta/Saskatchewan border last week.

Emergency services were dispatched to a residence on the Saskatchewan side of Lloydminster shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, to conduct a wellness check. Upon entering the premises, officers discovered three deceased individuals. The victims have been identified by the RCMP as 66-year-old Brent Peters, 32-year-old Matthew Peters, and 34-year-old Brennan Peters.

A GoFundMe campaign established to assist the family of the deceased characterizes the trio as a father and his sons. “They were taken from this world in a cruel manner and did not deserve such a horrific act,” stated the organizer. “They loved their family and friends with all their hearts.”

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the three fatalities is ongoing, with police assuring the public that there is no threat, as the incident was targeted. Details regarding the cause of death have not yet been disclosed.

The RCMP has expressed its unwavering commitment to resolving the case and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.

Individuals with any information regarding the deaths of Brent, Matthew, and Brennan are encouraged to reach out to Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400 or to provide tips anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
