Jhari German Obituary, Death; – A shooting incident that occurred over the weekend at an apartment complex in Pee Dee resulted in the death of one individual. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Latta Arms Apartments, located off Sardis Road, at approximately 9:47 p.m. on Saturday in response to the shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies secured the area, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was subsequently called in to investigate the scene, as detailed in an incident report. According to information provided to WMBF News by the sheriff’s office, an 18-year-old named Ty’drik Bethea has been arrested and faces charges of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Additionally, 25-year-old Titus Bethea has been charged with being an accessory after the fact, as reported by the sheriff’s office. Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley has identified the deceased as 21-year-old Jhari German, who succumbed to injuries from a gunshot wound.
