Tywone McClain Obituary, Death; Duquesne man killed during shooting inside Allegheny County club

Tywone McClain Obituary, Death; – Allegheny County police reported that a suspect involved in the fatal shooting that occurred last weekend in Duquesne was apprehended on Tuesday.

Authorities identified 51-year-old Marvin Harpool, who has been taken to the county jail while awaiting preliminary arraignment on charges of criminal homicide and a firearms offense related to the death of Tywone McClain.

“Through witness interviews and surveillance footage, detectives established that an altercation took place at the bar involving McClain, a witness, and another male, later recognized as 51-year-old Marvin Harpool,” the police stated in a release. “During the confrontation, detectives concluded that Harpool drew a handgun and shot McClain.”

County police had previously issued an alert for a vehicle suspected to be linked to the homicide, and detectives from the sheriff’s office located the car in a grocery store parking lot in Wilkinsburg, according to Mike Manko, a spokesperson for the office.

“Our detectives maintained surveillance on the vehicle until Harpool returned, at which point he was taken into custody without any incidents,” Manko mentioned in an email.
An investigation is currently ongoing following the death of a 26-year-old man after a shooting inside an Allegheny County club. As per Allegheny County Police, the shooting occurred within the Safari Club located on Grant Avenue in Duquesne.

Police received a call to the area around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. The victim has been identified as Tywone McClain, 26, from Duquesne. Authorities believe that McClain was involved in a fight inside the club prior to being shot. He was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
