Pam Rozier Obituary, Death; – Two individuals have been named as suspects in a deadly shooting incident that occurred in Dublin over the weekend; however, the Dublin Police Department reports that the suspects are still at large, as stated in a press release from the department.
According to the authorities, 27-year-old D’Anglo Marquez Martin and 24-year-old Quentavious Mercer are being sought in connection with a fatal shooting at the Riverview Heights Apartments, which resulted in the death of 31-year-old Jaquan Marquis Coney.
The police department has indicated that warrants have been issued for both Martin and Mercer, but as of now, the suspects remain fugitives, as confirmed by Dublin Police Chief Keith Moon.
The shooting occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, as detailed in a press release from the department. Officers were dispatched to the apartment complex located at 200 Riverview Park Drive shortly before 3 a.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered Coney lying on the ground with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Although officers provided assistance to Coney, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The incident transpired just one day prior to another homicide in Dublin. The department reported that 49-year-old Pam Rozier was found deceased on Sunday morning at the Claxton Homes Apartment Complex in Apartment 26A. Chief Moon has confirmed that this case is being treated as a potential homicide.
There has been no update regarding any arrests related to Rozier’s death; however, the Dublin Police Department has stated that the investigation is ongoing.
