Nicholas Collelo Obituary, Death; – A 24-year-old man was killed Monday night after the dirt bike he was riding collided with a motor vehicle on Norwich Road, according to police.
The crash was reported just before 7:10 p.m. after police received several 911 calls about a collision between the dirt bike and a car in the 700 block of Norwich Road, police said in a news release.
Officers found Collelo “unconscious in the roadway,” the news release said. Collelo was taken to Plainfield Backus Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The 22-year-old woman who was operating the other vehicle involved stayed at the scene and “cooperated with the investigation,” police said.
No other details about the crash were immediately provided, including how the two vehicles were situated in the crash.
