Raven S Jackson Obituary, Death; – A woman from Chillicothe was killed in a head-on vehicle collision in Peoria Heights on Friday morning, and she has been identified.
The driver has been named as 30-year-old Raven S. Jackson from Chillicothe, as reported by Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood.
Jackson was heading north on Route 29 near Riverview Court when she collided head-on with another vehicle at approximately 6:46 a.m. on Friday. She was pronounced dead at the scene around 8:15 a.m.
According to Harwood, bystanders made efforts to assist Jackson, but her injuries were not survivable. The coroner indicated that Jackson sustained severe multiple blunt force trauma injuries as a result of the crash, and she was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
In accordance with Illinois State Statute, toxicology results are pending. Harwood also mentioned that Jackson was an organ and tissue donor.
