Donald Gremillion,Gerrilynn Gremillion Obituary, Death; – Two individuals have lost their lives following a collision in Iberia Parish. The deceased have been identified as Donald Gremillion and Gerrilynn Gremillion, both aged 69 and residents of Abbeville.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident occurred at the intersection of Rip Van Winkle Road and Jefferson Island Road on Tuesday evening.
Deputies stated that the Gremillions were declared dead at the scene after their Nissan Cube failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a Ford F-150.
They also noted that the occupants of the truck were unharmed, and the driver successfully passed a breathalyzer test with negative results. As per IPSO, toxicology samples were collected from the other driver for additional analysis.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing its investigation into the incident.
