Chasity Rochelle Obituary, Death; – The Jennings Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating the vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run incident resulting in the death of a bicyclist.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Chasity Rochelle from Jennings. According to Jennings Police Chief Danny Semmes, the incident occurred on Tuesday, September 10, shortly after 12:30 a.m.
He further stated that law enforcement was alerted to the scene around 7:30 a.m. when Department of Transportation and Development workers discovered a body in a ditch near Oil and Gas Park.
Investigators suspect that the vehicle in question is a Ford F-150 from the years 2013 or 2014, and it is believed to have sustained damage to the passenger side headlight and mirror.
