Richard D. Dees,Savana M. Fuell Obituary, Death; – A tragic single-vehicle accident in Mobile County on September 2 at approximately 6 a.m. resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left one person injured, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

An ALEA representative confirmed that the deceased include 41-year-old Richard D. Dees and 28-year-old Savana M. Fuell, both from Mount Vernon, along with 34-year-old Brittney N. Goolsby from Satsuma and a newborn infant. The incident involved a 2016 Ford Explorer, which veered off the road, collided with a tree, and subsequently caught fire. All four victims were pronounced dead at the scene, with their identities confirmed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.

Additionally, 30-year-old Kalan A. Weaver from McIntosh sustained injuries in the incident and was transported to University Hospital in Mobile for medical care. The accident took place on Sam Jones Avenue near Denny Street within the city limits of Mount Vernon. The investigation into the crash is ongoing by ALEA.
