Alexis Martinez Obituary, Death; – A 22-year-old individual lost his life on Thursday evening due to a motorcycle accident on Elmhurst Road. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the deceased as Alexis Martinez, a resident of Mount Prospect, who succumbed to his injuries at Northwest Community Hospital after the incident.
According to reports from the Daily Herald, the accident involved only the motorcycle. Authorities from the Mount Prospect police department indicated that all traffic lanes on Elmhurst Road (Route 83) between Golf Road (Route 58) and Sunset Road were closed for nearly three hours to facilitate an investigation, with the road reopening at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
