Quandarius Young,Russell Thomas Andrews Obituary, Death; – The individual charged with the murder of three individuals in Oklahoma is now linked to a second homicide in Alabama. A judge has determined that Stacy Lee Drake will face trial in Sequoyah County for the capital murders of Tara Underwood and Taylor Sharp.
Drake was apprehended in Morrilton, Arkansas, shortly thereafter, where he was discovered resting in a hammock in the woods. Investigators located a disassembled firearm at Drake’s campsite. During the preliminary hearing on Tuesday, a Jefferson County, Alabama investigator testified that the firearm was registered to Quandarius Young, who was found deceased in an abandoned structure in Fairfield, Alabama, on May 15, 2024. Drake is now considered a suspect in Young’s death, although he has not yet been formally charged.
This marks the fifth homicide associated with Drake, who is also suspected in the death of Russell Thomas Andrews in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and faces capital charges in connection with the murder of Phillip Emerson in El Reno, Oklahoma. Additionally, during Tuesday’s hearing, it was revealed that an electronic tablet was discovered at Drake’s campsite, which contained online videos discussing optimal phrases to use before and after committing a murder. Drake is set to return to court in July.
