Leanna M Leach Obituary, Death; – Deputies from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a shooting incident in Venice that resulted in the death of a woman late Wednesday night. The shooting occurred in the 300 block of Cowry Road, situated west of the intersection of State Road 776 and Jacaranda Boulevard, at 11:36 p.m.
Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies discovered the body of Leanna M. Leach. Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the circumstances leading to the shooting or whether a suspect has been identified.
