Beth Bosco Obituary, Death; – A 67-year-old woman in a wheelchair tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night, as reported by law enforcement officials. The victim has been identified as Beth Bosco, a resident of Broad Street, according to Hartford police Lieutenant Aaron Boisvert.
Authorities received a call regarding a collision involving a pedestrian near the Interstate 84 overpass on Broad Street at approximately 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Bosco, referred to as a “wheelchair-bound pedestrian,” lying in the roadway with serious injuries, as stated by Boisvert.
The vehicle involved in the incident, a 2015 Lexus RX350, remained at the location, and the driver is reportedly cooperating with the investigation, according to Boisvert. Emergency medical services transported Bosco to Hartford Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, as confirmed by Boisvert.
The police are actively pursuing the investigation into this incident.
