Julie Denise Koenig Obituary, Death;- A female pedestrian who lost her life in a vehicle collision on Thursday in Rancho Cordova has been named.
Julie Denise Koenig, 63, from Mather, was declared deceased shortly after 6:45 a.m. following an incident at the intersection of Mather Field Road and International Drive, as reported by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Following the accident, both directions of the road were closed for a period, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities indicated that the driver remained at the scene, and no criminal wrongdoing was believed to have occurred as of Thursday morning.
