Kenneth Mitchell Obituary, Death; – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a tragic single-vehicle accident that occurred over the weekend.
Kenneth Mitchell, a 70-year-old resident of Charleston, succumbed to injuries sustained in the incident at the Medical University of South Carolina on Sunday, as reported by Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal.
The accident took place at the intersection of Highway 162 and Storage Road in Hollywood at approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, according to Lexi Douglas, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the accident to reach out to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office at 843-202-1700.
