Alfred Paul Salvatore Obituary, Death; – The Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a motorcycle accident involving an SUV in Lanesborough last weekend as 75-year-old Alfred Paul Salvatore from Pittsfield.
According to the district attorney’s office, Massachusetts State Police, who are affiliated with the office, responded to the incident on the Route 7/Route 8 connector shortly before 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 1. Salvatore was traveling east on his motorcycle when he veered into oncoming traffic and collided with an SUV.
The district attorney’s office reported that Salvatore was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident has not yet been disclosed by the authorities.
