Adam Stephenson Obituary, Death; – A tragic road rage incident occurred on a serene section of State Highway 48, close to Mannford, this past Friday evening.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the altercation resulted in a severe collision that claimed the life of one man and left several others injured. The accident took place around 8:30 p.m. and involved two vehicles: a Jeep and an SUV, as reported by KOCO.

The driver of the Jeep, identified as 37-year-old Adam Stephenson from Mannford, was declared dead at the scene. The passenger in Stephenson’s vehicle, along with three juvenile passengers in the SUV, sustained injuries in the incident. Troopers noted that Stephenson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The conditions of the survivors and the severity of their injuries have not been disclosed, leaving their fates dependent on the trauma care they receive from medical professionals. The other vehicle, operated by a woman, contained four young girls, all of whom were secured by seat belts during the incident.

Among the injured were two 13-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl, who were transported to the hospital but have since been released. While information regarding the events leading up to the crash remains limited, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The specifics of the road rage episode, including the moments of anger or frustration that may have contributed to this tragic outcome, are still under examination.
