Diondre Overton Obituary Death; – A former standout in college football at Clemson, who played a pivotal role in securing two national championships for the team, has tragically passed away following a shooting incident early this morning, according to law enforcement officials.

The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement shortly ago, indicating that officers responded to a report of a disturbance around 2:30 AM in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday. Upon their arrival, they discovered a shooting victim, later identified as Overton. Despite the officers’ attempts to provide medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The official X account of Clemson football shared several images of the athlete from his university days, expressing condolences to his family and friends in light of his passing.

Numerous teammates also paid tribute to their departed friend, including Tee Higgins, a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, who posted a heartfelt message alongside a photo of himself and Overton on his Instagram story. In the caption, Higgins expressed,

Overton was a member of the Clemson football team from 2016 to 2019, during which he recorded 52 receptions for 777 yards and seven touchdowns.
