Randall M. Cable Obituary, Death; – A 33-year-old man from the town lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Kent Road on Friday evening, as reported by the New Milford police. Authorities have identified the deceased as Randall M. Cable, a resident of the Gaylordsville area within the town.
The incident took place near the intersection of Kent Road and Sherman Road just before 7 p.m. According to police, Cable was riding his motorcycle northbound on Kent Road, also known as Route 7, when he veered into the southbound lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle. Tragically, Cable was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident resulted in the closure of Route 7 for several hours on Friday night, with the road reopening shortly after midnight, as stated by the police.
