Charlette A. Schloemer Obituary, – A woman from Caledonia, Missouri, lost her life, and a teenager sustained serious injuries in a collision that occurred early Thursday on Highway 21 in Washington County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Charlette A. Schloemer, aged 73, was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. A 17-year-old resident of Irondale, Missouri, whose identity is withheld due to his age, was taken to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for medical care.
According to the patrol’s report, the incident transpired at 7:38 a.m. while Schloemer was operating a Chevrolet SUV northbound on Highway 21, near Gilda Road, and attempted to overtake another vehicle. During this maneuver, her Chevrolet SUV collided with a Toyota pickup traveling south, which was driven by the teenager.
