Alvaro Felipe Mejia Obituary, Death;- The Kern County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of an individual discovered deceased east of Bakersfield in June 2024. Alvaro Felipe Mejia, aged 59, was located in the 4000 block of Comanche Drive on June 3, 2024, at approximately 9:44 a.m., as reported by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials from the coroner’s office have concluded that Mejia was a victim of strangulation, and the case is being treated as a homicide. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-487-4553.
