Donetta Hill Obituary, Death; – Officers from the Goldsboro Police Department were sent to a home in the 400 block of W. Ash Street late Wednesday night to conduct a welfare check. Upon their arrival, the victim’s daughter reported that she had not been in contact with her mother for several days. Inside the residence, officers found the victim, identified as 62-year-old Donetta Hill. She was pronounced deceased after the arrival of Wayne County EMS.
The investigation is ongoing.
