Marcus Womack Jr Arrested; – A man from Chicago has been charged in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday in the Park Manor area. The details are as follows: Marcus Womack Jr., aged 33, was formally charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday.
The incident took place at approximately 3:46 a.m. in the 7400 block of South State Street. According to police reports, Womack allegedly discharged his firearm following a dispute with a 41-year-old individual.
The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, but his identity has not yet been released by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Womack was apprehended five hours post-incident in the Woodlawn neighborhood. Looking ahead, Womack is scheduled for a detention hearing on Tuesday.
