Kristen Ryan Obituary, Death; – A woman who died following a Vespa scooter accident last week in San Pasqual Valley has been named. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as Kristen Ryan, 49, from Escondido.
On the evening of Sunday, January 12, Ryan and her husband were riding their scooters westbound near 16100 San Pasqual Valley Road when she lost control while navigating a curve. This resulted in her crossing into the eastbound lane and colliding with a rock embankment, which ejected her from the scooter, as reported by the police.
Bystanders promptly contacted emergency services, and Ryan was transported to the hospital with severe head injuries. Despite medical efforts, her condition worsened, and she was subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital. Medical authorities have classified her death as accidental.
