Andre Udonus Nicholson Obituary, Death; – A teenager was fatally shot on Saturday evening while allegedly attempting to rob another teenager, as reported by the Greenville Police Department. The police stated that at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Mulberry Street following reports of a shooting incident.
Two teenagers sustained injuries during the shooting; one of them, a 16-year-old whose identity has not been disclosed, and the other, 17-year-old Andre Udonus Nicholson, who succumbed to his injuries at the hospital early Sunday morning.
On Tuesday, authorities revealed that Nicholson was one of three individuals involved in a scheme to steal a rifle from a 16-year-old when he was shot. It was noted that Nicholson was in possession of a deadly weapon at the time of the attempted robbery.
Police apprehended Corey Russ at the scene, who was allegedly waiting to transport Nicholson and a third, unidentified accomplice away from the location. Russ faces multiple charges, including murder, armed robbery, conspiracy, two drug-related offenses, and driving with a suspended license.
