Xavier Trayshawn Garland Obituary, Death; – Authorities in Elizabeth City are conducting an investigation into a triple shooting that resulted in the death of one man and left two others injured.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Sunday in the 500 block of Lane Street. Officers responded to the scene following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Xavier Trayshawn Garland, aged 21, was declared dead at the scene. The other two victims were transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. One of the surviving individuals is reported to have life-threatening injuries, while the other is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this moment, there is no information regarding the circumstances that may have led to the shooting, nor have any suspects been identified by the police.
