Tracy Christian Obituary, Death; – A Michigan woman was killed and three people were injured in a crash in Marion County on Monday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called on a report of a crash around 11:35 a.m. at the intersection of Prospect Upper Sandusky Road North and state Route 309.
OSHP said a Jeep Compass was traveling southbound on Prospect Upper Sandusky Road North. At the same time, a Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound on SR-309.
The Jeep reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign and continued into the intersection, where it was hit by the Ford. The Jeep traveled off the side of the road and hit a building. The driver of the Jeep, identified as 61-year-old Tracy Christian, of Michigan, was transported to Marion General Hospital, then flown by helicopter to Grant Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
All three passengers in the Ford sustained non-life-threatening injuries. OSHP said Christian was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
