Terry Moore,Michael Moore Obituary, Death; – A 78-year-old individual was apprehended on two charges of vehicular homicide following an incident that resulted in the deaths of two pedestrians in West Palm Beach. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) reported that Ronald McKenzie was arrested on April 22 in relation to the fatal incident.
The collision took place on December 27, 2024, shortly before 7 p.m., at the intersection of Drexel Road and Fairgreen Road. As per the crash report, McKenzie was operating a 2011 Toyota Venza southbound on Drexel Road when he attempted to overtake a slowing vehicle by entering the turn lane.
The report indicated that McKenzie veered into the oncoming traffic lane—traveling southbound in the northbound lane—where he collided head-on with two pedestrians, a man and a woman, who were crossing Fairgreen Road.
The victims, identified as 73-year-old Terry Moore and 71-year-old Michael Moore, sustained fatal injuries. More than three months later, PBSO announced that McKenzie was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on two counts of vehicular homicide.
