Telesforo Torres Lopez Obituary, Death;- A worker from East Bay, who tragically lost his life in an industrial accident this week, is being honored by his family as a dedicated father who prioritized the well-being of others above his own. The incident occurred on May 5 at a repaving construction site on Walnut Boulevard in Brentwood, as reported by the Brentwood Police Department.
The accident involved a skid loader, which resulted in the worker being trapped under a substantial piece of machinery. According to police, the 54-year-old man from Petaluma succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A verified GoFundMe page established by his daughter, Salma, has identified the deceased as Telesforo Torres Lopez. Salma expressed, ‘My father was our everything.
He was someone who assisted others without judgment and never anticipated anything in return. Even after enduring long hours under the intense sun, if he noticed us returning home in a bad mood, he would embrace us and comfort us until he could elicit a smile. He would offer us a glass of water, cheerfully prepare an orange, and gently stroke our faces while listening to our concerns.
He provided us with his soothing advice.’ Salma further noted that Lopez found fulfillment in laboring for his family, ‘and he took his last breath doing so.’ To assist in covering funeral expenses, the GoFundMe page is soliciting donations. ‘It has been incredibly challenging for my mother, sister, and me to accept his passing and come to terms with the fact that he is no longer with us.
