Santiago Bettini Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a collision on Thursday afternoon on IH-45 in Conroe, as reported by the Conroe Police Department.
The incident occurred at 12:23 p.m. in the 500 block of the north IH-45 northbound main lanes. Authorities discovered that the Honda motorcycle was traveling northbound at a significant speed, maneuvering through traffic. The motorcycle allegedly made contact with the rear of a Nissan Altima, resulting in the rider being thrown off before colliding with the back of a TXDOT barrier truck.
Conroe Police Officers, along with TXDOT personnel present at the scene, commenced life-saving efforts until Conroe Fire and EMS arrived. Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider was declared deceased at the scene.
There were no additional injuries reported as a result of the crash. The deceased has been identified as Santiago Bettini, aged 20. Notification of the next of kin has been communicated to immediate family members.
