Sabrina Krasniqi,Pajtim Krasniqi Obituary, Death; – An overnight shooting incident on the balcony of a condominium in Hallandale Beach, which has initiated a double homicide investigation, has been determined to be a murder-suicide. According to police reports, a woman fatally shot her husband before taking her own life.
Pajtim Krasniqi’s sister shared videos and images of him on her Instagram account, expressing her grief with the words, “You were gone before we knew it, and bullets took your life.” Hallandale Beach Police confirmed that Pajtim, aged 34, was shot multiple times in his apartment located on the 45th floor of The Beach Club tower, situated at the intersection of A1A and Hallandale Beach Boulevard, shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
Detectives identified the shooter as Sabrina Krasniqi, his 27-year-old wife, who subsequently took her own life. ShotSpotter technology recorded at least five gunshots during the incident.
7Skyforce footage revealed detectives on the balcony, alongside a pool of blood. An area resident remarked, “I’ve never seen something like this since I was a little kid. It’s wild.”
The video also depicted the flat-screen television still operational inside the condominium, along with a large teddy bear placed on the table, as detectives conducted their investigation both inside and outside on the balcony. Additionally, the footage showed what appeared to be bullet holes in the sliding glass door.
Neighbors recognized Sabrina as the woman featured in a 2021 “Inside Edition” segment, where she was identified as a model participating in a story about street harassment.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear. However, another sister of Pajtim expressed on social media, “The person he trusted the most, the person he chose to spend his life with was the one who took his away from him.” She further stated, “She betrayed him, his love and his trust.”
Six years prior, Pajtim’s sister had organized fundraising efforts for him following a serious motorcycle accident, referring to him as “a fighter who beats the odds.” In the aftermath of the shooting, another sister posted on Instagram, “If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.”
7News conducted a phone interview with Sabrina’s brother, who commented on the couple’s relationship.
