Robert Schelb Jr Obituary, Death; – An investigation is currently in progress following the discovery of an 80-year-old man who was found fatally stabbed in a Peoria apartment in May.
Officers arrived at a welfare check at a complex located near Peoria and 87th avenues at approximately 7 p.m. on May 13, where they discovered the man inside an apartment suffering from multiple stab wounds, as reported by the Peoria Police Department.
The individual, believed to have been murdered between 7 p.m. on May 12 and 10 a.m. on May 13, was subsequently identified as Robert Schelb Jr.
No further details have been released.
Detectives are urging anyone with pertinent information to step forward, which can be done through Silent Witness.
